    A radio show. That's what I propose we do to create content.

    A radio talk show. Not music, not strategies or walkthroughs...a Blizzard talk show. It's something that really isn't out there on any Blizzard sites. I feel that I, with help from others either constantly or from time to time, can manage a weekly radio show where we talk about the latest happenings with Blizzard and our opinions and shizz. The idea of a talk show sounds dull, but that's where personality comes in and makes it fun and interesting.

    The Blizzard world may not have new and exciting news that appears every week, but during these periods in when the show can talk about aspects of games and rumors and possibilities and fun internet stuff found about Blizzard.

    A new page can be created for the radiocasts, and the radiocasts would be linked to a corresponding topic in the forums where people comment, rant and argue with the video. It is a talk show anyway. I have the capability to edit the audio and stuff so that's not an issue. This would lead to a new domain name purchase and a custom theme for the site to give it a style.

    What do you guys think of the idea? I'm pretty excited about the possibilities.

    i think we should broaden the topic to a general nerdery related theme so we have more stuff to talk about, rather than just blizzard. maybe we could have a focus on blizzard stuff every week

    Radio or podcast? Cause I feel podcasts would be better... everyone can DL a podcast. Not many can do Radio. I would wanna be in a podcast.

    I think Spidey might be right with the podcast idea. As a radio we would only have enough time to do a few shows per week (at best) and because of timezones, they could end up being at quite strange times.

    Liking the idea though and podcasting would probably be perfect for it.

    Between WoW updates and Diablo 3 coming out, I think that it's a very solid idea. There's plenty to talk about at this point.

    yeah and we can each send different clips and you can make a sort of "show" with the pieces we have done idividualy or what ever.

    we can just meet in a ventrilo channel and record the conversation with each other. it would be too awkward to have to send clips of dialogue one at a time...

    so skype would be smart to download, we could all meet at one time, or have 5 or 6 of us meet, or like some of the originals, I guess at least saying you have been here 3 or 4 yrs... just talk gaming, movies, etc etc...

    We will listen to it, if it's funny enough we'll spread it others and it will build a fan base if it's good. If it's not good it obviously wont work and no one will listen to it. What is appealing for people who surf the internet these days is that it's funny, so that would obviously have to be the major part of how the show is built.

    If it is credible it will get on itunes and Zunes podcast section in the marketplace.

    It's not like it would be the whole conversation that would take place anyway. Editing would be done to take out the silence or mumbo jumbo that doesn't contribute at all.

    Gamespot already talks about video games. I really can't see much content coming just from blizzard games...

    And projectlore is ghey. Not really. they do walkthroughs and stuff though. And that chick is dumb.

    I'm going to let this idea settle in for a month or so. Keep the suggestions and ideas coming people, even if it's completely different from the podcast/radio idea.

    I don't have internet at home right now and I'm in the process of editing my resume/writing samples and looking for a job, so I'm a tad distracted right now. Everything will come together in the next month or two though, you have my word.

    Until then keep talking, or if you want to design a page let me know and we can see how it looks.

    Every single person I know have a facebook, i don't like myspace however. It seems to be crowded with emo's and the the way people design their pages with a hell load of videos and pictures of things that make no sense everywhere just makes me want to shoot myself, facebook however is a very nice a efficient way for me to keep in touch with my friends and share pictures with them easy.

    Just because you have no friends montauk and have no way to use facebook for what it was designed for doesn't give you the right to bash on other people who may use these webpages for their own personal entertainment.
