    I'm trying to sell my computer on craigslist and this lady sent me an e-mail saying she was interested and could pick it up that day, but it was already 8pm and I was with some friends so I asked her if she wanted to come by the next day. This was her reply.

    That's not really a scam; she is just spamming you. 

    I have heard some horror stories about scams on the list that cost idiots hundreds / thousands of dollars.
