any of you use faps?

    I'm pretty sure someone uses fraps. I have the video captured, but it's huge ofc. So I put it in windowsmoviemaker which comes with my fabulous XP. This makes the file smaller but I still can't get any sound. What program do you use for video editing? wtf am i doing wrong?

    Also how does mic work. It works in hon when I hit T. Simple as that. How do I get the computer to record it, or whatever.

    Damn I am terrible at computers.

    I just use movie maker or imovie.

    Windows comes with a mic record program. I don't remember what it's called. Just search for the mic on your computer's search. Movie maker should be able to record sound as well. 

    Just click around on some shit. Goddam.

    I use fraps to record stuff for my youtube channel. When you are recording it should also record any sound your computer is making. I haven't recorded much of anything with me talking, except for a WoW arena vid which didn't save my audio, so I can't help you there.

    The windows sound recording program is called "sound recorder". IIRC it's in system32 folder.

    I haven't used fraps in years but I do know there's an option to toggle microphones on in off in it somewhere. It really depends what you are recording for. You want to livestream and have everything recorded for you making it so you don't have to do anything? xsplit/own3d that shit. Want to just put it on youtube don't care for anything else? Fraps is still the best thing to work with. Pretty sure youtube can accept fraps files anyway.
