Now that I have a debit card, I can buy cool shit online. I'm new to online shopping and the only site's I've bought from are amazon.com, walmart.com, and 1saleaday.com. I also frequent Slick Deals, but haven't found a deal worth buying.

So what cool, nifty websites do you guys use to buy shit? Stuff like shirts, gadgets, curious items, hats, whatever. Give me your recommendations!

This site owns for t-shirts http://amorphia-apparel.com/
and my favourite part of the site: http://sircritter.com/

You can completely customize the designs yourself too, changing colours and what have you.

    Woot- http://www.woot.com, http://sellout.woot.com, http://shirt.woot.com
Woot features 1 product per day, every day.  Usually sick deals but make sure you do some research on what you're buying before you buy it, especially when it's some kind of electronic gadget.  The user comments usually give you a good idea of how cool / worthwhile the item is.  Sellout.Woot is a community where users can post sick deals that they find online and post comments about the item(s).  Shirt.Woot is a great T-shirt site and, if you're artistic, you can submit your own designs and make some serious cash.

This should go without saying but be really careful where you input your debit card information.  Make sure the connection is secure.  If you haven't recently run some type of program to protect your computer from malicious software, make sure you do so to make sure that you don't have any pesky trojans, malware, spyware, etc that could compromise your bank account's security.

Why would you buy that jetpack when you could have:

Because anyone buying that jetpack wouldn't have to choose between the two.

the new 5series is now my dream car.

The 5 series is nice but that's not a 5.  That's a Alpina B7... 500 horsepower, 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 with all-wheel drive.  You've got 3 different modes (comfort, sport & super-sport) depending on how you feel like driving.  Ride in complete plush luxury as you barrel down a quarter mile just as fast as the Audi R8 (the supercar that Will Smith rocked in I Robot).

I have seen / driven a lot of really sick cars at work but only 1 Alpina.  They are rare because people don't know what they are (and they are a bit expensive).

You could buy TWO fully loaded, brand new 535s for 130k, or probably one 2012 M5 whenever it comes out (not sure if it is available yet).

I drove my mates A4, was not impressed by the handling.

He has a 5 series as well, but I never got a chance to take it out.

Oh, he also has a TT. Rich bastard. Riding in the back of the TT is extremely painful on the neck.

I used to like A4's a lot.  In fact, I was really considering saving up to buy one (used from early to mid 2000's).  The thing is, they don't hold up at high mileage unless you really pamper them.  A4's that come in to the valet stand at 40,000 miles are gorgeous cars.  At 100,000, they're junk.  The transmissions don't hold up to years of use / abuse.  The Quattro all wheel drive system is plagued with issues.  They do have strong turbo's.  They cost a fortune to fix if you crash.

BMW and Mercedes make really great cars.  It's easy to think that you're just paying for a brand name, and you are, but there's more to it than that.  The amount of engineering that goes into those cars is unbelievable, and the quality of parts is far superior to the cheaper makes.  The new Mercedes have seats that move during aggressive cornering- you turn the wheel, and the sides of the seat adjust to basically "hug" you and keep you upright in the chair.

BMW steering is extremely precise.  You almost feel like the car doesn't have power steering, but it does.  It can take you by surprise, but once you get the feel for it, the car goes exactly where you want it to.

Cadillac is really starting to get their shit together too and the CTS-V is a ridiculous car, but I don't know how they stand up to age.

I see an Audi TT and immediately assume the driver / owner is a woman or homosexual.

IMO the best car manufacturer in the world is Lexus / Toyota (same company) but specifically Lexus.  I have driven a lot of Lexus vehicles that have 120,000 miles on them and you'd think it was at 12,000.  They're luxurious, fast and well-built.  The stand the test of time.  And you fix them with Toyota parts, since it's the same shit.  2nd best is Acura / Honda.

I drive a 1993 toyota windom, which is like the car that lexus spawned from. haven't driven that many cars, but i suppose its nice. i feel like an old man though, it's like a old businessmans sedan.

We don't have a Windom here.  That car is badged as a Lexus ES300 here in the states.

It's not like they're blocked by the company, nothing is blocked, but for some reason neither chrome, firefox, or IE can access those sites...I can access maps.google.com, but not google.com or gmail.com

Probably a router firewall has those sites blocked if another computer has the same problem. If it's your machine only it's probably a rogue firewall, a really shitty rootkit or a host block. If you got admin rights turn off a firewall if you got one and see how it goes, check %WinDir%/System32\drivers\etc and click the hosts file(open with notepad) and see if its blocking anything.
