    I did it to keep in touch with people that suddenly came into my life, who were visiting Israel (each had his/her own weird reason for doing so) and I was their makeshift tourguide, showing them my area etc...

    Deleting it is bad imo, I use it to keep in touch with people from abroad and to get to know new people that I met once or twice in a social occasion and seemed interesting enough. I do however hide my photos and wall because I don't want to be dragged into the showoff contest where everyone constantly tries to post as many photos of themselves from social events etc. to be seen popular by others

    You'll be surprised. I have several people that invited me to sleep over in their place abroad and its thanks to facebook that I can stay in touch with them and eventually go see them. Also thanks to Facebook I met several people from my childhood.
