New games coming out, Fallout: New Vegas, Halo: Reach, CallofDuty: Black ops.
Honestly, i think CoD is going to be a huge hit. But i dont like it. The gameplay is geared more twards the Modern Warfare, hell it basically IS Modern Warfare. In those games it was more of a run around and shoot people with a little bit of tactics thrown in. In CoD World at War the multiplayer was way more splintercellish in the means that you snuck around the map and tried to shot them before they even knew where you were. 8/10 For the game itself, but im a bias bastard so 4/10.
Halo Reach looks pretty cool i guess, but they geared it as more of a serious game. I love Halo 3 for the fact thats its a game that you get on just to dick around and have fun at the absurd shit you can do, not because you're a try-hard. I think Reach will be a good mix, but i dont want a mix. i want an updated Halo 3. Over all, its going to be a good game and i'll eventually buy it, so a solid 9/10 for the game. My personal rating, 7/10.

I've never played WaW but I know that in the MW series if you play hardcore you're not overly able to run around and just spray. Granted in regular play where you have almost Halo like HP you can run around like an idiot and still do good. Then you have to factor in those cheap ass kill streaks. In WaW, its Uav, Artillery (VERY easy to avoid, unless they drop it DIRECTLY ontop of you.), and Dogs. Granted, if caught unaware dogs can be fatal, but there easy to kill and they dont FLY AROUND THE FUCKING MAP. -

No one wants to play fallout like a first person shooter, with the iron sights and all that shit. That takes the game down a notch. One of the great things about fallout3 was it so so damn cinematic, even when aiming in with your gun you had the feeling of a movie.
So yea, Obsidian is making it and it looks to me at least that they already screwed up a bit. -

...I would be surprised if you even saw that video. Just because they have iron sights now doesn't necessarily mean you have to use it. You still have VATs. If you would be pissed about something actually rational, like the fact the game is using the same damn old engine, everything looks exactly the same down to the quests/items with a few new shit here and there and pricing it as a full game. Sure, new story and new place but I have this feeling its just going to be another fallout 3 with a story rewrite.
Even with that gameplay, I just get the old F3 feel, that seems fun, but I'm getting tired of it. For fucks sake across the lake I see other game trying to SELL their sequels with new shit you would never imagine, would want to play as content, they aren't doing much for this fallout. -

They were pretty low. All they had to do was basically not make it like call of duty. That was my whole fucking checklist.

That's hilarious. I never really got into the creative aspects of Minecraft. I played around with it, and every time I just kept digging straight to the bottom to find oil, iron, gold, etc. Whenever I see people talk about Minecraft they always show pictures of their amazing forts and sculptures.

I would recommend buying it though, it's worth the price. -
Single player alpha is well worth your 10 euros. You can play the damn thing laptop that runs java and you'll play that for hours. Though SMP(multiplayer alpha) is still in development and Notch is a lazy ass drunken fuck that can't fix his servers or his multiplayer for it. Either he is going to sink his money to hell into his new company and never finish SMP or he's going to get a decent SMP rolling in about 3 months. The guy is making a shit load off this game and he's really only spending about 2 hours a week on actual development of it. He doesn't work anymore either so that really isn't an excuse.
