Starcraft 2 arrives in North Korea

Yesterday I played so badly.  Not only did I lose a bunch of 1v1s, but I 2v2ed with a friend and we played the same one guy 3 times in a row and he successfully cannon rushed me 3 times in a row.  I couldn't stop the fucker even when I knew it was coming.

maybe the joke is that north koreans are lazy and that's why there's famine and poverty?

Then it's as bad as Caz's stolen joke.
There is no precedent for NK having low resources.
There is no stereotype of North Koreans being lazy.
The most notable thing about NK is that they used to (still do?) have a crazy dictator in power.

Now something that is funny might involve making a joke about Kim Jong denying his people resources.
"North Korea only has 3 mineral fields, Kim Jong was buried with the rest."
or
"3 mineral fields for me, 5 for glorious leader"

I got my desktop working again but after a day of playing SC2 I realized how much protoss ruins the game for me. I uninstalled, I really can't stand playing against a race that can mass one unit and win against any unit combination (stalker). If you think I'm overreacting I can link you to GSL videos where ling/roach/hydra/infestor still dies to mass stalker. Protoss race is just too easy and I'm not going to waste my time fighting uphill battles.

I calmed down and reinstalled. tired of dying to gateway all-ins though

I'm having real trouble against Terran, especially mass marauder on a one base.  If I expand, they destroy my expansion, then me.  If I don't expand, they just build a second command center in their base so they can mule like crazy and expand themselves while they deny my natural.  I don't want to one base all in!  Especially against Terran.

 It may be quite tough at the top, and it is probably even tougher at the bottom, but halfway up it's so tough you could use it for horseshoes. By then all the no-hopers, the lazy, the silly and the downright unlucky have been weeded out, the field's cleared, and every player stands alone and surrounded by mortal enemies on every side. There's the pushy platinums below, waiting to trip him up. There's the arrogant masters above, anxious to stamp out all ambition. And, of course, all around are his fellow diamonds, ready for any opportunity to reduce the competition a little. And there's no standing still. Diamond level players are mean and tough and have reflexes of steel and their eyes are thin and narrow from staring down the length of that metaphorical last furlong at the end of which rests the prize of prizes, the Grandmaster title.

Was watching a PvT on Gom.tv where the terran went heavy marauder into expand. The protoss won with 3 gate robo into expand. Immortals rule.

Haha not only did I see that, but I did that too!  Like, the very next game I played.  Before I saw the GOMtv match!

WHY MORE PROTOSS BUFFS

Protoss got one minor late-game buff to make a unit that can only really be useful against mutas.  STOP TROLLING ME CAZ.

Nice that Terran got some Ghost and MULE nerfs.

I had a real crazy ZvZ where I went mass muta and he had roach/hydra. After tons of muta harass he got fed up and all in'd with a huge amount of roach/hydra/drone. He walked into a wall of 12 spine crawlers with his roaches while his hydras fought my mutas. My mutas came out on top with 4 left and they cleaned up his roach army, but before the last roach died he managed to kill all my drones at my main and natural.

Unbeknownst to him, I had a secret third with full saturation, so I rebuilt my lair and 10 more spines while he killed all the buildings in my main and natural with his 10 reinforcement hydras. Before my natural died I managed to make 6 infestors and rally them to my hidden third, so when he finished my natural he panicked and ran into my 10 spines. Chain fungal cleaned them up, and it was 1 base to 1 base again. Except I had 45 supply and he had 5 supply. 20 drones to 3.

He said GG and left, and then his friend sent me a message saying he watched the game and it was crazy. For some reason he started hitting on me and I ended up naming his penis.

That's the most important message in that post.

Having a hard time against mech terran 2 base all ins. hellion/tank/thor is a perfect counter to every zerg unit except brood lords. Thors are still good against brood lords though.

How are you liking the new maps?  I don't mind the S shaped one, but I quite like the other one, which you probably hate as Zerg ~

I've only played on cloud kingdom so far which is fine for me.

To keep you guys updated on the GSL, last night Genius beat MC and Dong Rae Gu beat Parting.  That means the semis will be Alive vs Genius (TvP) and DRG vs Gumiho (ZvT).

He was terran, so of course he did a marine/scv all-in.

I had a great time making fun of him when I beat him.

That was probably my last game though. Some lady wants to come look at my computer tomorrow. If it sells, I won't be playing SC2 again for awhile.

After a reassuring run through peepmode metalopolis where I absolutely destroyed 10 people in a row, I've decided to blow off the lady tomorrow and just play SC2 all day. If anything, I'm good at metalopolis.
