do we have a guild? i'm not a SA member so i can't join the SA ones.

The SA thread says you can join even if you're just a lurker. I just sent a message/request to join one of their guilds.

We could create one if we get enough people to play the game I suppose. I'll let Fox take the command with this though =)

ok i apped for Goon4. im on my 4th refinary.

if we got enough people we could possibly make a guild and ally with the goonion

the point of joining though is you wont be attacked because of treaties with other guilds, they won't attack you or the entire goonion (~800 people) will retaliate

if youre in a small guild there's no one to protect you and no one has any fear of retaliation so youre free for the pickings

If you guys want into the goon guild that should be fine. Just tell me your ingame name and let me know when you apply so I can message the guild master and let him know to accept you.

I was thinking we could just go with SA for now and if we really get into the game, they are starting a new server very soon where everyone will be starting from scratch.

i dunno i find it easy. it's basically something you play in between actual video games you'd play like WC3 and soon SC2 etc.

also i'm a big Civ fan so this kinda fits in nicely.

honestly its very confusing at first but once you get going you just log on for a couple minutes throughout the day and click shit mindlessly, its a good time waster

C12 guys wanna set a rally point in a region (like 45 or something) so we can mass our offensive fleets? we need to wipe out hi ho in our galaxy. hopefully in a few days i'll have a mass of corvettes and destroyers ready to take it to them. so far there isn't open war with hi ho but we should more or less focus on 1 guy at a time but each of us taking out a different base of his. also fox, is BEER pissed at hi ho too?

I'm reading the guide and it says queue up 4 metal refineries, so I built one, then found where to queue another one, but after that it won't let me queue up any more of those, just some of the other things, is this because I'm out of resources and I need to wait until more are produced? I'm assuming that's it. Also, queue is a funny word.

Name is "Vanilla" by the way. Also, where do I apply for the goon clan, the thread is still about Beta, not Ceti, so I need some updatez yo!

Edit: coolbeans, I think I figured out the construction end; I needed more energy, so once I queued up a solar plant I could build more other stuffs, but then After I queued up 5 things, I couldn't queue anymore. Is there a queue limit, or did I run out of Credits or something? I see where other resources are listed, but where are credits listed?

^5 is the queue limit (it goes down to 2 once your account upgrade runs out)

as for applying for the goon clan, I don't know if they have a thread up for ceti

if the drop down menu won't show any more refinaries it will show either urban structures alone or urban structures and power generatiion stuctures like solar plants etc. so you might either have max queue or no population or energy.

Now I need some traderoute infoz. I have 0/1, and I want to know what I should do to get a good trade route. I built one "goods" but I'm not sure what that did for me. Anyone have coordinates I should use?

I found that any word is funny if you repeat it enough times. Times. Times. Times...

Don't worry about "goods", they are for once you are making a ton of credits.

Trade routes give you more cash for the following:
- the economy of the 2 trading planets
- the number of different players you trade with
- the distance of the trade (longer = more money, but also more money to set up)

there's a "rename" link right under the base drop down menu. when you are looking at a particular base. in the overview window.
