    it was fine.. like I said, I may watch it again just to make sure i got the point.. but it's certainly not a must watch movie..
    plus my GF was talking about it for so long i was expecting the best movie of the decade, and was (obviously) disappointed..

    The Fountain, it was pretty good but I was expecting it to be more epic. Probably my least favorite Darren Aronofsky movie.

    this is seriously one of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen. Horror movies usually go for scary music or stupid surprises to make people jump in their sits, but this is much more powerful imo.

    But yeah, Toy Story 3 forced me to shed some manly tears. So many kids in the theater that will never realize how great the trilogy is.

    Last movie I watched was The Invention of Lying.
    Pretty funny stuff.

    fight club is overhyped but it has some genius to it

    donnie darko is a must watch

    the fountain is a masterpiece of underlying messages, hidden religious symbolism, and the soundtrack is brilliant. it's composed by clint mansell, what would you expect

    Since I'm already on the topic of books made into movies, the movie adaption from a book that has pissed me off recently was I Am Legend.

    I realize they were going for a modernization theme, but did they have to change the antagonists, character, plot, and ending as well? Jesus, it might as well have been called "GENERIC ZOMBIE MOVIE: THE MOVIE".

    Check out The Omega Man. I don't know if its more faithful than the recent version is to the book, but it does have Charlton Heston in it. It also gets sampled in a White Zombie song.
    edit: and like a lot of classic films, there is a parody scene in the simpsons.
