Copypasta'd from The Dunwich Horror:Its been a long time since my first bribe but it's time to speak.
Back when I first become a mod of warcraft3.com was when I took my first bribe. Back then it was just US$5 for the month, and you would keep quiet about the mod forum and the other super secrets that I had recently learned, upon entering the fold of the Mod elite. After that, after I was -their- man, they had me in their pocket and could pay me to do all that which my morals would turn me against. There were random bans, modding new members with connections and casting a blind eye on the up and comers that truly deserved to be among the modding elite.
This all took a turn when we changed to the vanilla forums, but it seemed the puppetmaster had only gotten a new puppet, and his methods were the same as they ever were. New members disappearing because of a whim, older members, unrecognized by the majority of the forums, paying cash to have their will secretly imposed on the board. All the while Blaze's pockets grew fat, feeding on the corruption and money that sprung forth from what had been a clear and pure forum. Here I sit by idle, as the days pass, wishing I had of stayed on the outside and could unknow what I now know. Too late, too far, too fast. This is WCOM, this is how it has been and this is how it will always be.

Never played it nor do I own my 360 anymore, but I remember SFII enough.
1: Learn move lists. They have the lists all over GFaqs. Experiment which one can be used in what situation, etc. Which one is safe to use.
2: Learn a main character. You can't have all alternatives and expect to win. Practice with one, get good with one, then think about learning alternative characters if you get bored.
3: Don't fucking bother with learning Akuma unless you like to cause carpal tunnel on your hands. He might seem cool, but be damned if you can learn akuma in a night.
4: Practice. Be able to do a move you normally wouldn't use in a situation for finger practice.
5: You might want to get a arcade stick, most pros go with them. Choice is yours though. The HORI EX2 is still out there.
Copypasta'd from Senshi:oh god rereading this thread is fucking golden
Copypasta'd from Lemon:I suggest you read the date his comment was posted, Senshi's long gone.
Copypasta'd from R.A.T. Army:Now cold...is that a Canada joke or a lemon joke?
